Joselyn Dayrell Administration & Director of Care

RN, BSN, PHN

“Nursing is not just what I do — it is who I am, woven into me long before I ever held a stethoscope.”

Some people find their calling. For Joselyn Dayrell, RN, BSN, PHN, the calling found her early and it has never let go. Growing up surrounded by nurses, she inherited more than a profession from her family; she inherited a way of seeing people: with patience, dignity, and deep compassion.

At just a teenager, Joselyn took her first job as a dietary aide in a nursing home and from that very first day, she knew this was where she belonged. She never left. What began as a high school position blossomed into nearly a decade-long career that has taken her through nearly every corner of the caregiving world: nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, and assisted living communities. She has served in every role the assisted living setting has to offer from direct care to administration, giving her a 360-degree understanding of what residents and families truly need.

Today, Joselyn oversees the care of residents with both mental health and physical needs — a population that requires not just clinical expertise, but unwavering empathy and consistency. She believes that every resident deserves to feel safe, seen, and respected — not just cared for, but truly known. Families who trust her with their loved ones will find a professional who treats every person in her home the way she would want her own family treated.

Her background in public health nursing (PHN) means she thinks beyond the individual — she considers the whole person, the whole family, and the whole community. Case managers and referral partners will find in Joselyn a reliable, transparent, and skilled collaborator who communicates openly, responds promptly, and takes resident outcomes personally.

Joselyn brings to this home what no credential alone can teach: a lifetime of showing up. She has been there at the bedside, in the hallways, behind the desk, and in the hard conversations. She knows what families are going through because she has walked alongside them — and she takes that sacred trust seriously every single day.
